The collection of goods is not possible as we do not operate any retail shops.

Forwarding Charges & Delivery Times

Delivery shall be only made by DHL. For the shipping costs please look on my site shipping. Goods can no longer be sent by the delivery mode “cash on delivery” into foreign countries due to the extremely high fees (€ 14).
Unless we advise you of any other delivery, we shall deliver within 4 working days upon confirmation of order respectively receipt of payment. Delivery times in foreign countries will be quoted individually.
Orders from € 200 and more shall be delivered within Germany free of forwarding charges.

Our returns policy

In case you do not wish to keep an article, you are entitled to send the goods back within 2 weeks (the goods have to be in a faultless condition). If you wish to send back goods, please inform us in advance, and we will advise you about the shipping method. Charges for the return consignment are to be paid by the buyer. Please make sure to enclose a copy of the original invoice. The return consignment is to be sent in adequate packaging. Furthermore, the buyer has to provide insurance for the goods which is adequate for the value of the goods.

In commerce with traders orders starting at a net value of goods of € 100 and more will be confirmed in writing – the right to return goods and to withdraw from the purchase contract will not apply if we do not receive any objection to the confirmation within 48 hours.

Retention of Title

Until full payment, the goods shall remain property of the company Satang – Thai. Please do not send any cash or cheques as we cannot assume liability in case of loss.

Methods of Payment

Accepted methods of payment:
- Cash on delivery (exclusively Germany)
- Advance payment
- Pay Pal

The goods shall be delivered upon receipt of payment!
Please note that as of 01.07.2003 no extra fees are charged for bank transfers into foreign countries within the euro zone. This means you are only paying the rate you have agreed with your bank for bank transfers within your country.
In case of payment by direct debit the value of your purchase must first be cleared by your bank. In case the bank does not clear the debit, or the customer cancels the direct debit, we will have to charge you the bank fees of € 6.50 caused hereby. This applies also to direct debit cancellations when returning goods. In that case we shall immediately transfer the invoiced amount back to your account.

Warranty

In case of defect of the delivery items, we are entitled, at our choice, to repair the defect delivery item or to deliver a new item. Should we fail to repair the item or not deliver a new item, the buyer is entitled to demand the reduction of payment (reduction of the purchase price) or to cancel the contract (rescission).
Buyer’s claims for warranty are subject to the buyer’s indication of obvious deficiencies within 2 weeks and not obvious deficiencies within 6 months after the delivery. The buyer is committed to grant us the verification of the deficient goods at our company. In case the buyer refuses the verification, we will be relieved of the warranty.

Delayed Payment

In case your payment clears later than agreed, or the payment cannot be made on time due to reasons you are responsible of, we reserve the right to charge a late fee and interest on outstanding invoices. In case of returned debit orders from your bank current account we will charge, independently of late fees and interest, € 10, also without any evidence of the occurred damage caused by the delay. Furthermore, we reserve the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, whereupon late fees and interest shall remain imposed.

Withdrawal from Sales Contract

We reserve the right to withdraw from the purchase contract in case we can foresee that the order cannot be fulfilled on time and/or completely. We shall inform you about our withdrawal without delay. The right to withdraw from the purchase contract is necessary, because the availability of some of our articles is limited! Furthermore, we reserve the right to withdraw from the purchase contract if we are passed information which enlightens us of the buyer’s unwillingness or lacking capacity to pay.

Data Protection

The buyer agrees that his data generally known within the scope of business relations, will be saved and processed in the database systems of the company Satang – Thai. Satang – Thai is committed to not to passing this data to third parties. Provided you explicitly disagree, newsletters are considered as approved.

Jurisdiction

The jurisdiction is, unless otherwise agreed or unless a different regulation applies by virtue of the law, Hannover. Legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.
The provisions of the UN-Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods do not apply in the relation between us and the buyer.

Severability

Should any term of these General Terms and Conditions be or become partially or entirely invalid, then this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms. The invalid term or the gap requiring a regulation will be replaced by a formulation whose target shall most closely resemble the invalid term it is replacing.
